Welcome to Tako-Tsubo Studio
(pronounced toe-koe sue-boe).
As I’m sure you’re already asking where did you get the name and what does it mean? Well simply put, tako-tsubo is the real broken heart syndrome getting its name from the Japanese octopus pots used by fishermen to trap the octopus and to not harm said cephalopod.
As the name suggests the business concept was born out of necessity after years of being broken hearted about having limitations placed on my artistic ability and an overall need to expand my horizons.
The business model is quite simple…provide a comfortable and welcoming environment where your artistic ideas come to life. It is my desire that as you enter the shop you are placed at ease to find a clean, well-organized and professional setting with helpful artists and staff to assist you with your tattoo/piercing.
